Kathmandu, Jan 21: The increase in price of gold in the international market has its impact in the local market in Nepal.
The price of gold has increased by Rs 1,100 per tola (11.66 grams) today as compared to Monday. The Federation of Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association has fixed the price of gold at Rs 158,100 per tola today. It was traded at Rs 157,000 per tola on Monday.
Similarly, the price of silver has increased by Rs 15 per tola today. It is being traded at Rs 1,875 per tola against Rs 1,860 on Monday.
The price of gold is 2,727.76 US dollar per ounce in the international market today.
