Kathmandu, March 31: The prices of gold and silver in the local market increased again today. Gold rose by Rs 6,700 per tola (11.66 grams), while silver increased by Rs 145 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold has reached Rs 290,200 per tola, while silver is being traded at Rs 4,845 per tola.
On Monday, gold was priced at Rs 283,500 per tola, and silver at Rs 4,700 per tola. Similarly, on Sunday, gold was traded at Rs 286,000 per tola and silver at Rs 4,720 per tola.
In the international market, gold is currently trading at USD 4,560 per ounce, while silver is priced at USD 80 per ounce, according to international media reports. #nepal #gold
