Kathmandu, Aug 26: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Damodar Bhandari has said that the government is committed to removing the frustration among the people by addressing the problems of the economic recession, trade deficit, and those of the industry and business sector.
At the 15th General Meeting of Sudurpaschim Samaj organized today in Kathmandu, Minister Bhandari said that the current government is leading the way to ending people’s despair and instilling hope.
“I have focused on developing entrepreneurship and industrial sector,” he said adding that the current government formed under special circumstances is shouldering the responsibility of ending the national challenges. Minister Bhandari emphasized that Gaura, the traditional festival of Far West, should be expanded to the international level.
He said, “Gaura festival, which was observed only in the Far West in the past, is now being celebrated across the country and even in India and America. Its original form should be expanded.”
On this occasion, Minister Bhandari also released the book ‘Sudoorki Sorai Gohra Special’. The book was edited by Dr Haridatta Pandey.
The book features the various aspects of Gaura festival.
