Government decides to bury Nembang with State honours



Kathmandu, Sept 12: The government has decided to cremate Subash Nembang, the Chairman of the Constituent Assembly, with State honours.

In the meeting of the Council of Ministers held today at the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers Office, the government expressed its condolences to the bereaved family while expressing grief over the demise of the Constituent Assembly Chairman.

Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Sudan Kirati informed that the government has decided to give him a national honor while showing respect for his contribution in the constitution making process.

According to Minister Kirati, the government has decided to grant a public holiday on the day of his funeral. The TU Teaching Hospital has said that the Constituent Assembly Chairman Nembang passed away this morning after severe heart stroke.
