KATHMANDU: The government of Nepal has extended the time for paying taxes to entrepreneurs. The deadline for paying taxes has been extended till July 9, according to a notice issued by the Inland Revenue Department on Wednesday.
It is said that the deadline has been extended in view of the difficulties faced by the taxpayers who could not pay their taxes on time due to the prohibitory orders issued in various districts to prevent the transmission of Covid-19.
Taxes for the months of April/May can be paid in the extended time.
