Kathmandu, July 7: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Rekha Sharma has ruled out any possibility of government toppling as it has full support of people.

There was no relevancy and need to unseat the government as it is doing good work, said Sharma, also the government’s spokesperson, at an interaction organised here by the Press Centre Nepal, Kathmandu.

“The government has full support of people. It feels that the government is working against corruption as per the aspirations of the people. The ruling coalition is committed to be siding with the government,” she said, adding, “We do not know what is taking place outside. The government will not step back from providing justice to victims and taking action against perpetrators. We do not have any objection when the government is toppled when doing good work.”

Expressing her concern about stalemate in the parliament created by opposition parties by picking irrelevant issues, she said it was a matter of sadness that the government could not put forward important and sensitive subjects like the replacement bill to give justice to loan sharking victims.

As Prime Minister was working with commitment to do good things for the country and people, she viewed that all parliamentarians should support the government by creating an environment conducive for it to work. The government was at work to take forward the Federal Civil Service Act and the Federal Education Act, she said.RSS
