KATHMANDU: The government has promoted five senior police officers to the post of Additional Inspector General of Police (AIG).
A meeting of the cabinet held on Monday morning decided to promote DIGs Uttam Kumar Subedi, Arun BC, Divesh Lohani, Mukundaraj Acharya and Pooja Singh to AIG.
DIG Subedi is currently the Chief of Kathmandu Valley Police Office, Ranipokhari.
Similarly, BC is in Provincial Police Office at Province 1, Lohani at Gandaki Province, Acharya at Head Office and Singh at Bagmati Provincial Police Office.
