Bhojpur, Oct 16: Hatuwagadhi Festival is going to be organized at Hatuwagadhi rural municipality in Bhojpur district from coming October 19 to November 2.
The festival aims to promote local cultures, traditions as well as tourism, according to the organizer Hatuwagadhi rural municipality and the Bhojpur Commerce and Industry.
Hatuwagadhi rural municipality’s Chairperson Prem Kumar Rai shared that the local government has allocated Rs 3 million for the festival.
A 26-km race competition from Maibeni, the lowest point in the district at 153 metres above the sea level, to Godetar Bazar via the highest point in the district Sangkham Joraahal (1,865 metres above the sea level) will be the major feature of the festival.
Various cultural dances will be shown during the two-week event besides exhibiting indigenous musical instruments, Rai added. #bhojpur #culture #tourism #nepal
