Kathmandu, Aug 7: An Air Dynasty helicopter has crashed in Suryachaur of Nuwakot district.
According to police official Shanti Raj Koirala, the helicopter crashed near Shivpuri-7 of Nuwakot. Preliminary reports suggest that the accident occurred after the helicopter hit the Suryachaur hill.
Locals and police have reached the spot, he said. It has been confirmed that the helicopter of Air Dynasty flying to Syafrubesi in Rasuwa met with an accident.
According to Koirala, there was a fire at the helicopter crash site and the rescue operation is ongoing. According to Tribhuvan International Airport, the helicopter was being flown by Captain Arun Malla.
