
Kathmandu, March 12: The House of Representatives (HoR) has passed a proposal seeking consideration on a bill to amend some acts relating to good governance promotion and service delivery-2081.
The proposal was presented by Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung, in the HoR meeting on Wednesday.
In response to lawmakers’ queries on the bill, Minister Gurung said the bill was introduced to maintain good governance. “When we honour Yogmaya, isn’t is also a respect to Bhojpur district people,” he wondered.
During the discussion, lawmaker Hitraj Pande argued that the bill failed to include the issues of public importance like education and health.
Similarly, lawmaker Juli Kumari Mahato suggested an arrangement of a digital platform to collect public views and suggestions from the federal to local governments.
Also participating in the discussion were lawmakers Ranju Kumari Jha, Bimala Subedi, Devendra Paudel, Ranendra Baraili, Hit Bahadur Tamang, Narayan Sharma, Durga Rai, Prem Suwal, Madhav Sapkota, Sushila Shreepali Thakuri, Bijula Rayamajhi, Rupa Shosi Chaudhary, and Mahesh Kumar Bartaula.#nepal #political #rss
