Darchula: Former Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN-UML KP Sharma Oli has claimed that Kalapani, Lipulek and Limpiyadhura will be brought back from India.
Addressing the election mass meeting organized by UML at the district headquarter Khalanga on Friday, Oli mentioned that Nepal is not in favor of giving up an inch of land to anyone and claimed that he will bring back the occupied land at any cost.
“Nepal is not going to leave even an inch of land to anyone as it’s a matter of nationality. ” Oli said, “Parliament has passed it unanimously. I want to guarantee that again.”
Referring riverine as Mahakali, India has occupied Kalapani, Lipulek and Limpiyadhura for 60 years and said that he will bring back the land.
He argued that the coalition government did not take quick action in the incident of the death of a 12-year-old boy due to the stone falling during the construction of the road by the Indian side.
Oli, who called to vote for UML for development, prosperity and stability, claimed that the electoral alliance formed by UML is not an alliance of interests but a national power. Oli, who launched UML’s nationwide election campaign from Darchula, is scheduled to address election rallies to be held in Patan in Baitadi and Mahendranagar in Kanchanpur.
