Indian Ambassador Srivastava calls on Prime Minister Deuba



Newly appointed Indian envoy to Nepal Navin Srivastava.

Kathmandu: Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava has called on Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba today.

A source close to the Prime Minister informed that Prime Minister Deuba and Indian Ambassador Srivastava had a meeting when the results of the House of Representatives and State Assembly member elections were coming and interest was growing in the formation of a new government.

The sources said, Indian Ambassador Srivastava was interested in contemporary political issues during the meeting.

In the meeting Prime Minister Deuba said that the final results of the election have not received yet.

Meanwhile, CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and PM Deuba met today and discussed about the possible government formation from the ruling alliance.
