Indian Ambassador taken ill during hiking receiving treatment in hospital

Kathmandu, Dec 14: Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Naveen Srivastava, who was taken ill during a hiking on Saturday afternoon, was rescued by the Nepali Army.

The Indian Ambassador was rescued in a Nepali Army helicopter and was admitted to the Grande Hospital in Kathmandu.

Ambassador Srivastava had fallen unconscious during his hiking to the Champadevi hill to the south of the Kathmandu Valley.

Spokesperson of Nepal Police, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Abhi Narayan Kafle confirmed that the Indian Ambassador was rescued in a Nepali Army helicopter and was rushed to the Grande Hospital.
The Ambassador is receiving treatment now and his health condition is improving, DIG Kafle shared. #nepal #india
