Indian Government gifts 61 vehicles to Nepal



Kathmandu, Jan 21: The Indian government has gifted 61 vehicles to Nepal for election-related purposes.

The vehicles were formally handed over by the Indian Embassy in Nepal during a programme organized at the Ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday.

According to Home Ministry spokesperson Anand Kafle, the 61 vehicles were delivered in the first phase, and more will be provided later. He stated that the Indian government has pledged to supply a total of 388 vehicles to Nepal.

Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal said that Nepal received 61 vehicles on Tuesday out of the total 388 vehicles that India plans to provide ahead of the elections. He expressed gratitude to the Indian government for its timely support.

The vehicles will be used to ensure the smooth management of the upcoming elections, Minister Aryal added. #nepal #election
