Kathmandu, Nov 11: Minister for Health and Population Mohan Bahadur Basnet has said the intermediaries inside the hospitals are defaming the hospitals.
Inaugurating the Bir Hospital clean-up campaign on Saturday, Minister Basnet mentioned, “Some selfish employees and intermediaries have been defaming the hospital. They are trying to misuse few other employees to meet their ends. So, all should be aware of them.”
He laid emphasis that all should join hands to develop Bir Hospital as an exemplary hospital.
Similarly, Vice-Chancellor of National Academy of Medical Sciences, Bir Hospital, Prof Dr Bhupendra Basnet shared that the clean-up campaign was launched in order to make Bir Hospital clean like other places during Tihar festival. Such drive would get continuity, he added.
Likewise, Bir Hospital’s Director Dr Santosh Poudel said the clean-up campaign was launched in hospital by forming different groups.
Office-bearers of NAMS, departmental chiefs, doctors and employees were present in the clean-up campaign.
