Janamat Party left Prachanda-led government



Kathmandu, March 31: The Janamat Party has left the Prachanda-led government after the displeasure over the reshuffle of the government.

According to sources, Janamat Party was demanding for the portfolio of Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply. However, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ repeatedly requested Janamat Party Chairman CK Raut to keep the Ministry of Water Supply.

Before announcing the cabinet reshuffle, Janamat’s leader Abdul Khan tendered his resignation to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.

Meanwhile, Janamat Chair CK Raut has stated that their party was a firm believer of conviction, not leap services. He has thanked Abdul for resigning from the post of Minister of Water Supply as well.
