Kathmandu, Jan 23: The CK Raut led Janamat Party has decided to withdraw the support given to the JSP-led Madhes Province government.
A meeting of the Provincial Parliamentary Party of Janamat decided to withdraw the support in accordance of the Article 168 of the Constitution.
The Janamat has alleged that the JSP-led Provincial government was more oppressive to the Madhesi people, discriminated the marginalized and Dalit community. Likewise, the present Madhes government have been indulged in extreme corruption, involved in dozens of scandals.
The party has also said that the ministers have been ordered to resign immediately. The party has vowed to start a movement against oppression and corruption in the Province.
The Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) and Janamat Party leaders and cadres clashed in Saptari on Monday while foundation laying program of the Madhes Agriculture University. The JSP wanted to it’s leader Upendra Yadav as chief guest while Janamat was adamant to it’s leader CK Raut as chief guest.
However, leader Upendra Yadav laid the foundation stone amidst tight security. On this course, some of the party workers affiliated to Janamat were injured. #Nepal
