Lalitpur, Mar 3: Mohini Mishra, a former senior editor at Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) and a dedicated social worker, passed away this morning at the age of 56.
Mishra, a resident of Lalitpur Metropolitan City-18, Bhainsepati, breathed her last while undergoing treatment at Nepal Mediciti Hospital in Lalitpur, as confirmed by her family. She had been battling pancreatic cancer for the past two years.
With a journalism career spanning over two decades, Mishra made significant contributions to RSS. She also served as the former president of the Nepal Press Union RSS Chapter and held various positions at the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) RSS Chapter and the RSS Employees Association.
Due to her deteriorating health, she had taken voluntary retirement from RSS. She is survived by her son.
Her final rites has been performed at Pashupati Aryaghat this morning.
