KATHMANDU: Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Rana has appointed Justice Sapana Malla Pradhan in place of justice Harikrishna Karki to hear the writ petitions filed against the dissolution of the parliament.
Eleven of the 13 writ petitioners against the dissolution of the House of Representatives had filed in the apex court demanding a hearing in the plenary session. But Chief Justice Rana has rejected it and formed a constitutional bench.
The other justices in the constitutional bench are Bishwombhar Prasad Shrestha, Anil Kumar Sinha and Tej Bahadur KC.
