Birtamod, Dec 24: Chairman of the Shram Sanskriti Party, Harkraj Rai, has said Nepal can not make progress unless labour is recognized as a foundation of nation-building.
Addressing the public assembly organized by the Jhapa District Committee of the Party at Birtamod on Wednesday, Rai reiterated that labor culture paves way for change and development.
“We must work to utilize lands for production. Once we are habituated to engage in various works, we evidently contribute to journey of prosperous Nepal,” said Chairman Rai.
“Instead of spending time by blaming others, it is necessary to foster a culture of building the nation by with our own hands.”
The party has announced that it was preparing to field candidates from all 77 districts for the election to the House of Representatives scheduled for March 5, 2026, according to him.
Rai is also the Mayor of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City.#nepal #rss
