Labour Ministry’s call centre to remain open during Tihar

Kathmandu, Oct 25: The call centre operated by the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security will remain open during public holidays in Tihar festival.

Issuing a notice today, the Ministry said the centre would have regular operation from 10am to 5pm on October 27 to 29. It operates from 7am to 9pm on normal days.

The call centre deals with complaints from the people involved in labour and employment sector.

Similarly, the Foreign Employment Board has said in a statement that the free transport of bodies of those Nepalis migrant workers died in foreign land to their respective place continues during public holidays (October 26 to 30) at Tihar.
