Kathmandu, Dec 21: Working journalist and youth leader affiliated to CPN (Maoist Centre) Laxmi Pun has been appointed as the new Executive Director of the Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT).
Pun was appointed to the post by a meeting of PADT Governing Council held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Sudan Kirati.
She was the former press coordinator at Ministry for Home Affairs, former Vice-President, Press Centre Nepal and news editor at Nepal Television, and other media outlets.
The tenure of the outgoing Executive Director Ghanashyam Khatiwada ended on December 17.
Meanwhile, the meeting also decided to revoke appointment letters provided to various persons and organizations as advisors in the past.
