Kathmandu, June 14: ‘Himal Ta Kalai Bhayechha’, an anthology of poems penned by litterateur and journalist, Shyam Prasad Rimal, has been unveiled in the federal capital.
Poet Rimal, litterateur and journalist Gandhi Raj Kafle, a travel writer Bishnu Prasad Sharma Parajuli, former administrator and literati Hari Prasad Rimal, Madan Prasad Rimal and Skanda Rimal released the poetry collection on Friday on the occasion of 108th birth anniversary of litterateur Gopal Prasad Rimal.
The anthology has 29 poems including ‘Bihe’, Ma Pani Patrakar Hun’, ‘Jado Ko Barga’ and ‘Himal Ta Kalai Bhayechha’. On the occasion, litterateurs Kafle and Sharma commented that the poems were written on various issues ranging from impacts of climate change on human and wildlife to political aggression.
Similarly, publisher Shuvam Adhikari informed the writer had shed light on various issues from politics to pollution.
Rimal has already published five books—’Euta Kanda Bijhda’, ‘Trishuli Ko Kinar Bata’, ‘Barpak’, ‘Nadi Bagdaina’ and ‘Chamero: Corona Kabita’. #nepal #Himal Ta Kalai Bhayechha #rss
