
Dang, March 3: Lumbini Province Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya has said that the province government is vigorously working to creating an easy environment for the private sector investment.
Addressing to the 18th Anniversary and Building Inauguration Programme of Rapti Life Care Hospital at Tulasipur today, he said an environment would be created to encourage private sector investment. “Be enthusiastic for investment and the government will create an environment conducive for the same,” Chief Minister Acharya said on the occasion.
Tulasipur Sub-Metropolitan City Deputy Mayor Tikaram Khadka said the role played by the private sector in the education and health sectors was significant. Private sector investment has also helped the state, he added.
The 100-bed hospital, which came into operation with an investment of Rs 270 million, has an annual turnover of Rs 177.3 million. Hospital Chairman Hari Rijal said that the hospital has been conducting nursing and general medicine classes at the certificate level and has already obtained permission to run lab and pharmacy programmes from next year.
The hospital provides specialized services including general medicine, orthopedics and neurology, obstetrics and gynecology, general surgery, neonatal and pediatrics, nose, ENT, mental and neurological diseases, radiologist, anesthesia and critical care.
The hospital has been providing 10 per cent of the beds free of cost. Similarly, 10 per cent of the students studying nursing and general medicine are also being taught free of cost. A total of 209 people are currently employed in the hospital.#nepal #political #rss
