Janakpurdham: Province Chief of Madhes Province Mr Harishankar Mishra has called for submission of claims for the new government within seven days.
According to Article 168 (2) of the Constitution, Chief Mishra has called for submission of claims for the appointment of the Chief Minister by 4 pm on January 12, 2023, with the support of two or more parties represented in the Provincial Assembly.
There are 107 MPs in Madhes Province assembly. A majority of 54 MPs is needed to form the government.
