Saptari, Feb 28: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said the Madhesh movement was possible on the backup of the Maoist people’s war.
Speaking at a programme held under the party’s ongoing “Maoists with People, Postal Highway-Centered Campaign,” at Rajbiraj today, the former Prime Minister expressed his concern over ‘gradual disintegration’ of those parties emerged on the foundation of the Madhesh Movement.
He added that his party is always concerned of the issues of Madhesh. The Maoist Centre Chair accused the Madhesh-centric parties prevented Ramraja Prasad Singh, the pro-republican leader from Saptari, from becoming the first president of republic Nepal.
He spoke of the need of unity among the Madhesh-centric parties for their collective strength and to safeguard the accomplishments of Madhesh movement.#nepal #political #rss
