KATHMANDU: The meeting between Prime Minister and CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli and leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has ended.

A meeting was held between Chairman Oli and Nepal at the Marriott Hotel in Naxal, Kathmandu. UML leader Bishnu Poudel was also present at the meeting.

The leaders had a two-hour meeting. Leader Nepal left the hotel at 7.45 pm, however he would not comment on the meeting.

However, both the leaders have not made anything public about the outcome of the meeting.

It was a significant move towards resolving recent issues that have been forcing towards splitting the party itself. Oli and Nepal both are leading two groups, and party leaders and cadres, including MPs on all levels have been divided.
