Kathmandu, June 19: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Khadak Raj Paudel, has said the government was fully committed to the preservation and promotion of Nepali art and culture.
Speaking at the 54th anniversary celebration of the Sanskritik Sansthan (Cultural Corporation: Rastriya Nachghar) here Friday, the Minister said Nepali art, culture and traditions have played instrumental roles in making Nepal’s identity’s globally known.
He observed, “Nepal is rich in art and cultural diversities. Artists in this sector should be equally aware of culture, nature and challenges.”
Sansthan’s general manager Kiran Babu Pun informed the organization has been continuously working for preservation and promotion in the field of Nepali art, literature and culture since its establishment.
On the occasion, folk duet singers Purushottam Neupane, Ram Prasad Khanal and others were honoured. Various prizes were distributed to the winning teams of the National Folk Duet Singing Competition- 2026 organised on the occasion of the organisation’s anniversary. #nepal #rss
