Kathmandu, July 24: Minister for Information and Communications, Dr Bikram Timilsina, has directed the Nuwakot Transmission Centre of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) to ensure regular power supply in the district.
Minister Dr Timilsina, who is also a people’s representative from Nuwakot district, garnered information from chief of Transmission Centre, Raj Kumar Raman, on power supply, infrastructures and citizen’s access to quality service.
The Minister made aware the chief about the frequent complaints relating to power outage in the district. Raman was asked to assure technical improvement and efficient management.
The Minister also asked the chief to assess the status of necessary infrastructures like electric poles, transformers and cables and forward action accordingly.
Minister Timilsina also inquired about the disruption of telephone and internet services for lack of power supply to the Nepal Telecom towers.
Raman vowed he would take immediate move for resolving the technical problems. #nepal #rss
