Kathmandu, Oct 24 : Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Vice-President of NC’s district working committee in Dailekh, Bhupendra Jung Mahat.
Leader Mahat passed away in India’s New Delhi-based hospital on Wednesday during the treatment.
In a press statement released today, NC President Deuba said that the active contribution of Mahat in the NC’s organization and democratic movement of Nepal would always be remembered in the history of Party.
Mahat was also former district president for NC’s youth wing, Nepal Tarun Dal, for Dailekh district. Deuba said that Mahat’s demise had incurred an irreparable loss to the party and country.
He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and extended condolences to the members of the bereaved family.
