Kathmandu, Sept 28: Nepal beats host Singapore with nine wickets in the 2nd Tri-series T20 International cricket match played at Singapore on Saturday.
Winning the toss, Singapore batted first. The Singapore team post 152 runs for Nepal to win. Singapore team Captain Tim David top scored with 64.
Chasing a little tough total of 152, Nepal batted very well. Captain Paras Khadka top scored with 106 not out after facing just 52 balls. He hit 7 fours and 9 sixes.
Another batsman Aarif Sheikh scored 39 not out by facing 38 balls.
Nepal reached the target within 16 overs.
Nepal’s Paras Khadka was declared Player of the Match.
In this tri-series, Nepal, Singapore and Zimbabwe have been contesting. In the first match Nepal lost to Zimbabwe.
