KATHMANDU: Nepal has improved three places in the FIFA rankings on Tuesday. In the new rankings, Nepal has risen from 171st place to 168th place.
Nepal has come out of this ranking after its three games in the Asian World Cup qualifiers. Earlier, Nepal had also played a friendly match against Iraq.
Nepal had defeated Chinese Taipei in the World Cup qualifiers. Nepal was defeated in the remaining matches. After 2019, Nepal’s ranking has improved for the first time. Before that, Nepal was ranked 161st.
