Sunsari, March 6: An international theatre festival is being held in Itahari, Sunsari starting Friday.
The Asian People’s Theatre Festival Society, in collaboration with Sarbanam Theatre, is organizing the International Theatre Festival-2025 on the occasion of Koshi Province Tourism Year-2081, said coordinator of the festival Bikram Shree.
The three-day festival is being held at the Theater Hall within the Itahari Matrix premises. A total of 44 foreign artists and cultural workers from 20 theatre organizations from 13 countries are participating in the festival.
Itahari Matrix and Aarambha Natya Dabali are also collaborating for the mega event that will feature various drama performances, workshops, and cultural exchanges.
The organizers believe that this the event would contribute significantly to promoting tourism in the Koshi region, expanding international relations, and enhancing art, culture, and civilization.#nepal #rss
