Kathmandu, Dec 29: Nepal Police collected Rs 402.549 million in revenue during the month of Mangsir (November 17 to December 15) of the current fiscal year 2025/26.
The revenue was generated through law enforcement actions, according to Central Police Spokesperson and Deputy Inspector General of Police Abhi Narayan Kafle.
Of the total amount, Rs 179.567 million was collected from the seizure of illegal goods, Rs 123.736 million from the execution of court verdicts, Rs 71.593 million from traffic fines, and Rs 8.945 million from the seizure of illegal gold and silver.
Additionally, Rs 6.443 million was seized from hundi (illegal money transfers), Rs 8.090 million from unaccounted sources, Rs 2.764 million from the illegal extraction of riverine construction materials, Rs 287,000 from illegal timber, and Rs 702,000 from illicit trade in livestock and birds, Kafle said. #nepal #police
