Nepal scored 212 runs against Maldives, Rohit posts half century

Kathmandu, Oct 1: Nepal has opted to bat first today after winning the toss in Asiad cricket tournament played against Maldives in Hangzhou, China.

However, Nepali batsmen struggled at Zhejiang University of Technology Cricket Field in the beginning. However, Nepal managed to score 212 runs in 20 overs after loosing seven wickets.

Nepali flamboyant batsman Gulshan Jha scored 35 runs. He faced 21 balls.

But captain Rohit Paudel and Kushal Malla played important innings. Rohit top scored with 52 runs while Kushal Malla scored 47 runs after facing just 20 balls.
