Kathmandu, Jan 4: The Foreign Employment Department of Nepal has decided not to give work permits to Nepali citizens in the war-torn countries of Russia and Ukraine.
The Department’s Director Kabiraj Upreti informed that the government has decided to ban on issuing work permits to Nepali citizens either institutionally or individually in both countries.
He said, “Since there is a war in Russia and Ukraine, the work permit for Russia and Ukraine has been suspended to minimize the damage that may occur if any Nepali citizens go there and until there is another arrangement.”
