Kathmandu, Oct 15: Nepal will face host nation Oman today, Wednesday, in the Super Six stage of the ICC T20 World Cup Asia and East Asia Pacific Qualifier.
The match will be played at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground in Oman, starting at 8:45 PM Nepal time.
If Nepal defeats Oman, it will secure qualification for the ICC T20 World Cup. So far, Nepal has registered victories against the UAE and Qatar in the Super Six stage.
At the end of the Super Six round, the top three teams will qualify for the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup to be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka. Today’s match is therefore being seen as Nepal’s crucial opportunity to secure a spot in the global tournament. #nepal #oman #cricket
