Kathmandu, Aug 8: Discussions on various 11 proposals presented by different office-bearers of the Nepali Congress took place today in the Central Working Committee meeting that started from Wednesday.
In the meeting chaired by party president Sher Bahadur Deuba at the NC Central Office in Sanepa of Lalitpur, Vice-President Purna Bahadur Khadka, General Secretaries Gagan Kumar Thapa and Bishwa Prakash Sharma presented the 11 proposals.
Central members, invitee members and provincial presidents commented on the proposals.
On the occasion, proposals including the resolution passed by the general convention meeting, the agreement on the formation of the government of national consensus, the 100-day organizational campaign, the recommendations for disciplinary action, the appointment to vacant positions at various levels of the party, sister and well-wisher organizations among others were submitted.
