Nepali people hope for exceptional resolution: PM Dahal

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said the Nepali people have expected the government to perform exceptionally well.

The Parliament remains as an exam hall for us. Keeping with the usual parliamentary affairs, roles and politics will not make us able to internalize people’s issues and address them, according to the Prime Minister.

In his address to the very first session of the post-election House of Representatives today, the Prime Minister said the political parties were already aware of people’s expectations, grievances and concerns and now they had no excuse to stay unresponsive towards the maters. “We must swing into action to address them.”

“The House of Representatives is the body reflecting gender, caste, religious and regional diversities,” the Prime Minister said adding that though its members were from various political backgrounds, they had common commitments and goals for good governance and prosperity

The House has got new faces this time and their entry is itself the victory of democracy and people’s sovereignty, according to him who is confident that the people making debut in the parliament have passions to leave their marks. Such zeal is the capital of the new parliament.”

The PM took time to insist on the strengthening of national unity by focusing on the achievement of economic prosperity and parity.

“We are mandated to make efforts for building a prosperous and just nation with a common resolution for economic resolution,” said the 44th Prime Minister of Nepal, expressing his hope that the House would prove a venue for meaningful dialogues and actions. RSS
