Nepali women have been celebrating Teej festival across the country with pooja in major Lord Shiva temples, and funfairs as singing and dancing. The women mostly wear red colored dress in this day which adds uniqueness in the festival. Foreign nationals (women) have also been found celebrating this festival wearing red dresses.
A large crowd have been witnessed at Pashupatinath Temple. According to Pashupatinath Development Trust, more than 500,000 women will be offering pooja at Pashupatinath Temple alone.
