Pokhara, Nov 21: Chief of Gandaki Province, Nepal, Prithvi Man Gurung, has said federal democratic republic must be protected, as it is the excellent system of inclusion at every level of governance.
Inaugurating a building constructed for the Buddha Aghau Sadan at Ramghat in Pokhara-10 on Monday, chief Gurung viewed the assault on the present system must be foiled. Nepal’s constitution is excellent, he underscored.
“The protection of the achievements made through historic revolutions, struggles and sacrifices of Nepali people is need of hour,” he reiterated, adding that some forces disagreeing with the constitution also involved in election, thereby ensuring acceptability of constitution.
According to him, sustainable peace, good governance, development and prosperity are made objectives of the present federal democratic system. He urged all sides concerned to devote to the effective enforcement of the constitution and system.
Moreover, the province chief argued there is constitutional supremacy in rule of law.
Rule of law determines Nepali’s future, he reminded.
The Buddha Aghau Sadan monastery is a centre of religious faith.
