NEPSE again set all-time high at 2,983.10

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index gained a significant 38.32 points on Sunday and closed at 2,983.10.

The index opened at 2,959.15 and immediately made the intraday low at 2,957.33. It then gained aggressively and ultimately closed at 2,983.10, which is the highest index-closing in the history of the NEPSE index.

According to NEPSE, 37,076,439 shares traded hands via 182,430 transactions. The trading of 220 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 19.55 Arba. This is also the highest intraday turnover in the history of Nepal’s capital market.

While the float index gained 2.92 points and closed at 206.74, the Sensitive index is at 539.41 after gaining 11.54 points.

Arun Valley Hydropower has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 72.29 crores.
