Kathmandu, June 8: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today declining by 20.27 points (0.73%) to settle at 2,735.14. This comes after a loss of 11.37 points in the previous trading session.
The benchmark index opened at 2,749.32 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,754.58 and a low of 2,726.38 before settling higher at the close.
Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.08 billion, with 9,236,677 shares traded across 356 companies through 56,845 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 4,666 billion, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 1,566 billion.
