Kathmandu, April 23: The NEPSE index closed at 1,885.60 today after losing 18.80 points from the last trading day’s closing. The index lost 15.73 points last Thursday.
Today the index opened at 1,904.94 and made the intraday high at 1,906.66. In contrast, it went as low as 1,881.15 and ultimately closed at 1,885.60.
A total of 265 scrips traded hands via 31,415 transactions. According to NEPSE, 2,734,307 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 82.85 Crores in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day’s turnover of Rs. 98.33 Crores.
Molung Hydropower Company Limited (MHCL) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 3.11 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 254 per share.
Sunrise Bluechip Fund (SBCF) and Adarsha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ADLB) gained the highest 10% each and hit the positive circuit for the day.
Conversely, Sunrise Focused Equity Fund (SFEF) lost all 10% today.
Only one sector closed green, “Hotels And Tourism” gained 1.50% while “Finance” lost the highest 0.20% today.
