KATHMANDU: The NEPSE index gained 18.81 points and closed at 2,286.54. The index opened at 2,279.04 and made an intraday low at 2,277.26. The index then made an intraday high at 2,296.17 and ultimately closed at 2,286.54.
According to sharesansar.com, 13,289,849 shares traded hands via 50,950 transactions. The trading of 207 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 5.91 Arba.
This is higher than yesterday’s turnover of Rs. 4.98 Arba. While the float index gained 1.1 points and closed at 156.51, the Sensitive index is at 435.25 after gaining 1.97 points.
Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 26.55 crores. The units of Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme-2 (SIGS2) traded the most today.
