Kathmandu, June 8: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index closed at 1,939.61 today after gaining 7.27 points from the last trading day’s closing. This is a gain of 0.38%. The index gained 4.68 points yesterday.
Today the index opened at 1,933.4 and then made the intraday low at 1,920.65. In contrast, it went as high as 1,947.45 and ultimately closed at 1,939.61.
273 scrips traded hands via 43,128 transactions. A total of 5,962,093 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.305 Arba in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day’s turnover of Rs. 2.36 Arba.
