NEPSE index decline by double digits today



Kathmandu, July 3: The NEPSE index, which measures share trading in Nepal, has fallen by double digits today. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the index fell by 21.32 points and was limited to 2075.97.

It was the second consecutive day decline in the stock market. On Sunday, the NEPSE index fell by 53.70 points.

The sensitive index, which measures the turnover of large companies, decreased by 4.17 points and was limited to 386.35. Out of the total 13 subgroups traded, the share price of two subgroups increased while the share price of 11 subgroups decreased. A total of 94,18,952 shares were bought and sold.

Himalayan Life Insurance was at the top position based on turnover. Similarly, Soalti Hotel, Citizen Investment Trust, Shivam Cement, NLG Insurance Company managed to enter the top five based on turnover.

According to NEPSE, the share price of CYCL Nepal and BPW microfinance increased by 10 percent.
