Kathmandu, April 26: A double digit decline has been observed in the capital market today. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index decreased by 13.68 points and stood at 1,892. A total of 25,71,202 shares of 264 companies were bought and sold in the NEPSE market.
Today, all NEPSE indices were red. The sensitive index has decreased by 2.11 points, the float index by 1.01 points and the sensitive float index by 0.77 points.
Similarly, the sub-indicators of all groups were also red. The sub-index of life insurance group has decreased the most by 56.82 points and the sub-index of non-life insurance group has decreased by 50.95 points. Banking group has decreased by 7.67, development bank by 35.92, finance by 12.75, hotel and tourism by 46.90 and hydropower group by 20.57 points.
Similarly, the investment group decreased by 0.85 points, production and processing by 34.72 points, microfinance by 20.95 points, mutual fund by 0.04 points, business by 6.58 points and other groups by 5.45 points.
