NEPSE index fell by 11 points today



Kathmandu, Nov 27: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index, which rose by a high on the first day of trading this week, fell by double digits on the second day today. Today, the NEPSE index decreased by 11.27 points to 1,896.67 points.

Today, a total of 6,617,397 shares of 290 companies were bought and sold.

The hotel and tourism group has increased by 0.25 percent, investment group by 0.49 percent, mutual fund by 0.01 percent and business group by 0.37 percent, while the sub-indices of all other groups have decreased. Life insurance group has decreased the most by 0.89 percent and banking group has decreased by 0.84 percent.

The share price of Upper Sangi Hydropower Limited has a positive circuit today. The share price of Swabhiman Laghubitta Financial Institution decreased by 8.04 percent.
