NEPSE index improves slightly today



Kathmandu, May 16: The NEPSE index, which measures share trading in the securities market of Nepal, has increased by a few points today. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the NEPSE index rose by 3.31 points to 1,821.62.

Similarly, the sensitive index, which measures the share turnover of large companies, decreased by 0.08 percent and was limited to 348.93. Out of the total 13 sub-groups traded, the share price of 11 sub-groups increased while the share price of two sub-groups decreased.

A total of 20,63,737 shares were bought and sold. In terms of transactions, NIC Asia Bank was at the top position. The bank’s shares worth nearly Rs 5 crore were traded.
